PL 1Ready4NetZero consortium are inviting all interested in urban energy planning topic to the  webinar #6, "Urban energy planning and the challenge of energy poverty", which will be held on March 12, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Get ready to participate in an inspiring event that will showcase the remarkable efforts of Bydgoszcz municipality towards achieving energy self-sufficiency. The upcoming webinar is all set to unveil the city's incredible accomplishments in energy production and efficiency.  

 

With a strong commitment to climate neutrality since 2007, Bydgoszcz municipality aims to become a sustainable city by 2030 and this event will take you one step closer to its vision. In the second part, we're going to tackle the growing issue of energy poverty, which is impacting more and more urban residents every day. It's time to take action at the local level, and we'll explore some innovative solutions that could make a real difference.

guest1Michał Gruszczyński is a lawyer and member of the Bydgoszcz Bar Association, specialized in administrative law. He is also an inspector in the Energy Management Team at the Bydgoszcz City Hall. For the last 5 years, he has been involved with the local government, dealing with energy law in its broadest sense, including the planning and implementation of investments in renewable energy sources for the City of Bydgoszcz, as well as conducting international projects.

 

guest2Dora Biondani has a Master's Degree in Engineering and an MBA in Energy and Sustainability. She works as a Project Manager for the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub, which is the leading EU initiative run by the European Commission at the request of the European Parliament. The initiative aims to eradicate energy poverty and accelerate the just energy transition of European local governments interested in taking action to combat energy poverty in Europe.
