On 3-4 February 2026, the kick-off meeting of the TWINUP4CE project, co-funded by the Interreg Central Europe programme, took place in Kranj. Ten representatives from five partner organisations from Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary met for the first time to plan activities focused on aligning workforce competencies with current and future labour market needs, as well as enhancing the readiness of both employed and unemployed individuals to face the challenges of green and digital transformation.
The first day began with an official welcome by the project coordinator – BSC, Business Support Centre Ltd, Kranj. This was followed by brief presentations from the partner organisations and a discussion of expectations for the collaboration. The main objectives of the project were then presented, including its goals, the structure of the work packages, and the monitoring plan. The session continued with a detailed discussion of activities covering the analysis of skills needs, the identification of good practices, and the establishment of Regional Upskilling Management Alliances (RUMA).
The second day focused on topics related to testing and transferring RUMA solutions, including competence development strategies, regional action plans, and issues concerning the sustainability and scalability of project results. Communication activities and reporting procedures were also addressed. The TWINUP4CE kick-off meeting in Kranj provided an excellent opportunity for joint discussion of the planned project activities. More information about the project is available on our website.
