On 6–7 May 2025, CETAC project partners met in Riga for the second consortium meeting, which took place at the welcoming premises of Riga Technical University. The two-day event offered an excellent opportunity to summarise the work done so far, collaborate during interactive workshops, and plan the next steps in the project. The first day began with a session dedicated to project management, led by the coordinator – SEVEn.
The partners discussed the project's progress, meeting objectives, and administrative matters. The IWO team presented the current status of work on the stakeholder engagement plan and the Clean Energy Transition Advisory Centres’ (CETACs) Action Plans. During a workshop session, partners discussed proposed services for pilot CETACs, which led to an engaging exchange of ideas and experiences.
After the lunch break, participants took part in an extensive workshop focused on defining the training objectives. The aim was to identify the key skills to be developed through training sessions for municipalities. Building on previous analyses – such as training needs assessments and stakeholder mapping – the group jointly developed a set of competencies most relevant for CETAC operators.
The second day began with a session on the practical operation of CETACs, led by the Latvian partner Ekodoma. The discussion focused on performance indicators and the upcoming kick-off workshops in municipalities. Partners then learned about the ongoing and planned activities in Ukraine, presented by the EECU.
After the lunch break, our association’s team presented the current and upcoming communication activities. The meeting continued with a hands-on workshop during which participants co-created a draft scenario for the project's promotional video – soon to be featured on the partners' communication channels.
We would like to thank the hosts – the Ekodoma team – for their excellent organisation of the event, and all the partners for their active participation and commitment. The coming months promise to be filled with further dynamic work within the CETAC project!
