Climate actions of cities and municipalities and their progress require reporting. In order for it to run efficiently and to put the least possible burden on local governments, they need an appropriate tool. With the CDP platform, you only need to submit 1 report for all your obligations! By completing the CDP cities questionnaire, you can simultaneously report to the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy, C40 Cities, Under2 Coalition, Cities Race to Zero and Cities Race to Resilience, as well as various ICLEI initiatives and many more.

The 2022 reporting cycle has already started - on the CDP-ICLEI Track platform you will find cities questionnaire, which has been simplified this year and contains less than 40% of the questions compared to last year.

If you complete the questionnaire by July 27, the CDP will evaluate your adaptation and mitigation efforts on a scale from A to D. The result will only be available to you and will help improve your climate actions. Only the results of the best cities that hit List A will be published and the highest scorers will be promoted by CDP as role models. In 2021, 95 cities from around the world have made the A-List.

By reporting your local climate and environmental action through CDP-ICLEI Track, your jurisdiction will be one of over 1000 climate-ambitious local governments, leading the way in climate and environmental action and transparency.
